NEW DELHI: Prominent political strategist, Prashant Kishor (PK) will undertake 3000 km padyatra which will start from Champaran in Bihar on October 2. He will also launch the ‘Jan Suraaj’ campaign to mark his new innings in the political arena.
After rejecting Congress’ offer to join the party, Kishor announced on Monday that he would launch “Jan Suraaj” from Bihar. However, he has not disclosed the actual strategy he wants to execute in his home state.
His “Jan Suraaj” announcement forced political pundits to analyze his future planning. Many of them think he wants to create a new party out of Bihar. His ‘Jan Suraaj’ ad has prompted political pundits to analyze his future planning and many believe he wants to start a political party out of his home state of Bihar.
Kishor, in an earlier tweet, hinted that he would address the “real political masters” i.e. the people of Bihar.
The senior leaders of almost all parties have chosen not to react too much on him and do not want to give him importance.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said he had nothing to do with Kishor. RJD leader and opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav said he was not following the political strategist’s news.
Former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi has claimed that developing a political strategy and establishing a connection with the people are two different things.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Chairman Lalu Prasad said Kishor’s efforts would turn into a flop in Bihar.
Even though these rulers also know about Prashant Kishor’s strengths, they are currently trying to downplay it.
BJP leaders are well aware of what Kishor did for them in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. The Janata Dal (united) and the RJD also experienced his political skills in the 2015 Assembly elections when the Mahagathbandhan (Opposition Grand Alliance) defeated the Saffron Party.
Kishor has also been successful in West Bengal, Telangana and Delhi. Hence, every party in Bihar is looking forward to the future plans of Prashant Kishor.
