A group of officials on the ground gave chase and eventually overpowered the man in the yellow t-shirt before pulling him off the field as the crowd roared and cheered.
This is the second consecutive case of a pitch invasion in the IPL, with Wednesday’s eliminator in Kolkata also seeing a man running towards Kohli in the outfield before police took the fan away much to the amusement of the Indian star.
