U.S. Senate bipartisan group unveils framework on gun safety reform

WASHINGTON: A bipartisan group of U.S. senators announced Sunday that they have agreed to a framework for potential gun safety legislation, including support for state “red flag” laws , stricter background checks on gun buyers under 21, and a crackdown on a practice called “straw buying.”
