Nevada Democrat Gov. Steve Sisolak was briefly hospitalized on Sunday after being involved in a car accident, according to a report.
Fox 5 Las Vegas reported that the governor has since been released from hospital and is recovering at home after sustaining minor external injuries. Sisolak’s office did not immediately respond to an after-hours email from Fox News.
The station, citing police, said the governor and the other driver were the only occupants of the vehicles involved in the crash. Both suffered minor injuries. The station posted a photo of the crash scene which showed extensive damage to the front of the car and an SUV.
