Sidhu Moose Wala Murder Case: Two Chief Snipers Arrested | Punjabi Cinema News



In a major breakthrough, Delhi police on Monday arrested three people, including two main shooters in the murder of famous Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.

A cache of weapons and explosives was also recovered by the Delhi Police Special Cell, including 3 50-round pistols.

Reportedly, the police defendants include Priyavrat (26) who was the module leader and was in direct contact with Canada-based Goldy Brar and leading the team at the time of the incident. Privarat has already been implicated in two murder cases – he was arrested in 2015 in a Sonipat murder case and wanted in another Sonipat murder case in 2021.

He was seen on CCTV at a petrol pump in Fatehgarh before the murder.

The second arrested was identified as Kashish (24) who is also a designated shooter and was also identified from the Fatehgarh petrol station CCTV footage. He was accused wanted in Jhajjhar, Haryana case in 2021.

The third accused arrested Keshav Kumar (29) was a facilitator who received the shooters in a four-wheeled vehicle immediately after the shooting and also accompanied the shooters to Mansa on the day of the incident; during previous reconnaissance and attempts. Kumar was arrested in a murder case in Bathinda, Punjab in 2020 and was also suspected to be involved in various extortion cases in Punjab.

Canadian-based mobster Goldy Brar had claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s murder in a Facebook post. Goldy Brar is a close associate of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, who is the prime suspect in the Punjabi rapper’s murder.

Bishnoi was brought before the Chief Judicial Magistrate on June 15, where Punjab Police were granted 7 days remand custody of the wanted criminal.

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village, Mansa district of Punjab on May 29. The incident took place a day after his security was removed by Punjab police among 424 other people. Notably, the singer had joined the Congress party last year in December ahead of the Assembly elections.
