The 23-time Grand Slam winner posted a video on Instagram of his daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., perfecting her swing on the pitch, with help from coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
In images shared on Monday, Olympia – who Williams shares with Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian – is casually dressed in a denim jacket and jeans while taking charge of Mouratoglou, who also coaches her mother.
The toddler is currently in Melbourne to support Williams’ quest for a 24th Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open.
“Olympia is going to be the TRUTH! #Legacy” replied one fan.
Another wrote: “Start them young. How old were you and Venus when you started? If she follows that dream …. great. If she follows another ….. great too. Give him choices and experience.
Olympia looked like a natural athlete as she held a racquet in her tiny hands and showed off her truly impressive stance.
Williams, who her father Richard taught to play tennis from a young age, previously revealed that she enrolled her daughter in tennis lessons – without telling the instructor who she was.
In a video posted to her Instagram Stories in October, she said: “Don’t even start with me because I don’t give her tennis lessons; I signed her up for some. But the lady has no idea. that’s my daughter, so we’ll see how it goes. ”
She added, “I’m not an arrogant mom, but I know how much I love techniques, so I’m going to make sure she’s good at teaching Olympia some techniques.”
