Ranbir Kapoor roped in Alia Bhatt’s favorite singer Prateek Kuhad for a surprise performance at their Mehendi ceremony | Hindi Movie News

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married Thursday at his Bandra residence. The Mehendi ceremony took place on Wednesday at the site. Photos and videos from the event were shared by guests on their respective social media accounts.

After the Mehendi ceremony, Ranbir had a big surprise for his sweetheart. The “Tamasha” actor had hired his favorite singer Prateek Kuhad for a performance. In her final post, Alia said the singer performed all of her favorite songs at the ceremony.

According to a report, Prateek had performed his popular songs ‘Kasoor’, ‘Tere Hi Hum’, ‘Yeh Pal’ and more at the event. Apparently, the artist had signed an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) and as a result, he did not post any videos of the same on his social media.

The performance lasted 30-40 minutes and Alia also made a special request to Prateek for the song “Fighter”.

Meanwhile, the caption of Alia’s Mehendi ceremony post read, “The Mehendi was like something out of a dream. It was a day full of love, family, our beautiful best friends, LOTS of fries, a surprise performance by the ladkewalas, Ayan playing the DJ, a BIG surprise hosted by Mr. Kapoor (my favorite artist performed my favorite songs), all followed by some happy tears and some quiet happy moments with love of my life. There are days… and then there are days like these! 💕♾”

The couple fell in love while filming for Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’.
