Chair of the House of Commons Financial Services Committee Maxine Waters, D-Calif., Paid her daughter tens of thousands of dollars more in campaign funds this year.
Campaign fundraising records reviewed by Fox News show the MP’s campaign paid her daughter, Karen Waters, a cumulative $ 74,000 in donor cash through September.
The last quarter alone saw more than $ 20,000 going to Young Waters, which is almost a third of median U.S. household income in 2020, according to the Census Bureau.

The Waters campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request to comment on the payments to his daughter.
The Waters daughter has received over $ 1.1 million for her work on her mother’s campaigns since 2003.
In fact, the 2020 election cycle alone saw $ 250,000 paid to the daughter of the chairperson of the House Financial Services Committee.
The Californian Democrat’s daughter organized slate-sending operations to support her mother’s re-election.
Sending slates is an uncommon practice in federal elections, where a consulting firm is hired to create some kind of brochure that contains a list of candidates or policy measures and tells voters how to vote.

Representative Waters was said to have been the only federal politician to use a slate broadcast operation in the 2020 general election.
