Matthew Perry is keeping his spirits up after splitting from his fiancee, Molly Hurwitz, last month.
The 51-year-old former “Friends” posted a candid photo on social media of himself smiling inside a restaurant.
“Happy days …” he captioned the post.
Perry and Hurwitz, 29, got engaged in November 2020 but confirmed their separation on June 1 to Fox News.

“Sometimes things don’t work out and this is one of them,” he said in a statement. “I wish Molly the best.”
According to People magazine, the couple started dating in 2018. “I decided to get engaged,” Perry told the outlet at the time. “Fortunately, I happened to be dating the tallest woman on the planet right now.”
Perry dated actress Lizzy Caplan from 2006-2012.

The actor recently appeared on the HBO Max show “Friends”, in which he candidly discussed the pressure he felt to make audiences laugh live as Chandler Bing.
“To me, I felt like I was going to die if they didn’t laugh,” he said. “And that’s not healthy for sure. But I would say a line sometimes and they weren’t laughing and I was sweating and I had seizures. If I didn’t have the laughter that I was supposed to have, I would panic. “

Reunionese director Ben Winston told The Hollywood Reporter in May: “I loved working with [Perry]… He’s a brilliantly funny man and I thought he had some good one-liners on the show. I just felt happy and lucky to be in his presence and direct him to something like that. “
