The U.S. Marines took to Twitter on Sunday evening to post a photo of the flag-draped transfer cases of fallen servicemen who died last week in the Kabul bombing.
The cases were inside a C-17 Globemaster II and the photo was taken on August 29. The bodies were on their way to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware.
“Gone, but never forgotten,” the caption reads.
The attacks killed at least 60 Afghans and 13 US soldiers, Afghan and US officials said.
