Lord Geidt went into more detail about why he quit, going into more detail about why he stepped down as Boris Johnson’s ethics adviser.
In a letter to the chairman of the Constitutional Affairs Select Committee, William Wragg, Lord Geidt said he “could not be party to advice on possible breaches of the law”.
He admitted that his resignation letter may have been too cautious.
