Liverpool’s Juergen Klopp has been recognized for his side’s inclination to an unprecedented quadruple this season as he was named the League Managers Association (LMA) and Premier League Manager of the Year on Tuesday.
Liverpool have won the League Cup and FA Cup and will face Real Madrid in the Champions League final on Saturday. They narrowly missed out in the Premier League title race, finishing a point behind champions Manchester City.
“It’s a big honor and it’s been a crazy season,” Klopp said. “The last day where only two games made no sense and in the rest we all played for absolutely everything. It was not the best result for us, but we have already passed it.”

The 54-year-old German won the Premier League award after public votes were combined with those of a panel of experts, while the LMA award was voted on by all managers from all clubs. divisions.
“This vote for my colleagues is obviously the most important award you can get,” Klopp added.
