Keanu Reeves was considered for the role of Brad Pitt in ‘The Lost City’, the makers of the film have revealed.
When directors Adam and Aaron Nee spoke with Screen Rant about Pitt’s role in the film, the duo shared that they weren’t sure they could cast Pitt and had other stars in mind, including Reeves.
“I think we thought it was going to be Keanu Reeves initially, but he was related to ‘John Wick’ and that’s when we were like, ‘Brad was always our first choice,'” Adam shared with the point of sale.
“But we didn’t think that would happen. Then [Sandra] did ‘Bullet Train’, and it fell into place. And I love Keanu, he would have been fun too.”

“The Lost City” has an all-star cast, including Sandra Bullock, Channing Tatum, Daniel Radcliffe, Oscar Nunez and more.
After years of romance rumors, Esquire magazine recently asked Bullock if she and Reeves had ever dated, to which she simply replied, “No.”
“But who knows?” she added quickly. “Keanu is a guy who, I feel like I’m friends with every woman he’s dated. I don’t think there’s anyone who has anything awful to say about him So maybe we could have survived, I don’t know.

Since filming “Speed” in 1994, Bullock and Reeves both revealed they had crushes on each other, but neither knew about it.
