Askhay Kumar has recently started filming for the official Hindi remake of Suriya’s hit Tamil drama “Soorarai Pottru”. Although all the details of the project are closely watched, it seems that an image of the sets has gone viral on the Internet. A disheveled look of Akshay is making the rounds on social media and netizens are speculating that he belongs in the “Soorarai Pottru” remake.

Akshay began shooting the film in April this year. Announcing the same, the actor shared, “With the auspicious breaking of the coconut and a little prayer in our hearts, we begin filming our as yet untitled film about dreams and their power. In case you have any title suggestions, please share and of course, your best wishes. The remake of “Soorarai Pottru” will be directed by Sudha Kongara, who also called the plans for the original film starring Suriya. Akshay was paired with Radhika Madan in this artist.

Currently, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming epic drama “Samrat Prithviraj” which recently got a name change. In a letter to Shri Rajput Karni Sena, the makers of ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ said: “In accordance with multiple rounds of discussions between us, and in order to peacefully and amicably resolve the grievance raised, we will change the title of the film . to ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. We greatly appreciate the mutual agreement reached between us that you no longer have any objections regarding our film and that all the other points you raised earlier are no longer a point of contention between us.
