BENGALURU: The second Test between India and Sri Lanka, a pink ball match starting on Saturday, could sell out after the Karnataka State Cricket Association allowed 100% crowd attendance on Thursday for the match due to a sharp drop in COVID-19 cases and high demand for tickets.
“KSCA is pleased to inform that there has been a very good audience response for the India vs Sri Lanka Day-Night Test cricket match to be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from 12th to 16th March 2022.

“Given the high volume of responses and since there are no more restrictions for spectators, KSCA will open ticket sales for the stadium’s full capacity,” KSCA Treasurer Vinay Mruthyunjaya said in a statement. .
Daily ticket prices have been maintained at Rs 1250 (Grand Terrace), Rs 750 (E-Executive), Rs 500 (D Corporate) and Rs 100 respectively.

In the first test between India and Sri Lanka, which was also Virat Kohli’s historic 100th test, a 50% crowd capacity was allowed at PCA Mohali Stadium.
