I would scan my brain if I woke up as Cristiano Ronaldo, says Virat Kohli | Cricket News

MUMBAI: A big fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, India’s star striker Virat Kohli says he’d have his brain scanned if he ever wakes up as a Portuguese soccer icon.
A huge fan of Ronaldo’s work ethic and fitness regime, Kohli expressed his admiration for the star footballer during a photoshoot for his IPL Royal Challengers Bangalore franchise.
Asked about his favorite athlete and what he would do if he woke up one day like him, Kohli replied, “Cristiano Ronaldo!”
“I would do a scan of my brain (if I woke up as Ronaldo) and see where all that mental toughness came from,” Kohli said in RCB’s ‘Behind The Scenes’ series.

Kohli also spoke about his heartbreaking and most memorable moments of his life at RCB.
“The 2016 IPL final and the same year the 2016 T20 World Cup semi-final in Wankhede against West Indies,” Kohli said as he recalled the heartbreaking moments.
Kohli was in the form of his life in the 2016 season when he hit 973 runs in 16 games with an average of 81.08 – the most runs in a single season.
At the most memorable moment, he earned their win over Gujarat Lions in the 2016 IPL Qualifier 1.
“The last game we played in 2016 was against Delhi in Raipur. And then the very next qualifier, when AB (de Villiers) played a gunshot and Iqbal was with him at the other end.
“The celebration after this game was the most special I have ever experienced,” Kohli concluded.
The video also featured Indian pacer Mohammed Siraj and skipper Faf du Plessis who picked Roger Federer as his favorite athlete.
RCB will face Rajasthan Royals in their third match of the season on Tuesday.
