How to unlink your WhatsApp account from multiple devices

WhatsApp recently started rolling out the multi-device feature which allows users to access the platform on multiple devices even if there is no connectivity on the primary device. Users can link a single WhatsApp account with up to four other devices. Since the feature was first released, the Facebook-owned platform has added several new improvements and fixes to make it work properly.

Several users have complained about data synchronization issues between linked devices and to fix it, WhatsApp introduced a patch a few months ago. After the patch, if your device has data synchronization issues, the platform will automatically disconnect your devices as a security measure. But did you know that you can also unlink your WhatsApp account from any other device via your smartphone. To learn how to unlink your WhatsApp account from multiple devices, you can follow these steps:

Open the WhatsApp app on your Apple iPhone.

2.

Tap the Settings option in the lower right corner of the screen.

3.

In the menu, tap Paired devices.

4.

You will be able to see all the devices your WhatsApp account is currently connected to. Tap the devices you’re signing out of.

5.

Press the Logout button.

Open the WhatsApp application on your Android smartphone.

2.

Tap the “three dots” icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

3.

In the menu, tap Paired devices.

4.

You will be able to see all the devices your WhatsApp account is currently connected to. Tap the devices you’re signing out of.

5.

Press the Logout button.
