Hawley slams abortion activists for ‘terrorizing’ judges, says Biden complicit: ‘Pathetic thugs’

EXCLUSIVE: Sen. Josh HaleyR-Mo., denounces abortion activists who demonstrate outside the homes of conservative Supreme Court justices as “pathetic thugs” and accuses President Biden of “encouraging” their behavior.

A draft opinion drafted by Judge Samuel Alito which would overthrow Roe v. Wade and refer the issue of abortion to individual states was disclosed on Monday. Following the leak, pro-abortion activists called for protests in homes judges who would supposedly vote to overthrow Roe, and even published their addresses in line.

“People who would try to terrorize judges and their families in their homes are scumbags,” Hawley, whose own family was targeted by protesters last year, told Fox News Digital in an exclusive statement.

“The left tried this tactic on me and my family, terrorizing my wife and baby. It failed. The real story here is that Joe Biden is encouraging him. That doesn’t make him any better than the pathetic thugs who engage in this behavior “

Last year, after Hawley announced his intention to raise objections at the joint session of Congress to certify Biden’s victory, his family home in Washington, DC, was targeted by leftist activists.

The senator blamed “Antifa scumbags” for shouting threats and vandalizing his home while he was away in his home state of Missouri and his wife and newborn daughter were inside.

The White House on Thursday declined to encourage abortion activists to avoid protesting outside judges’ private residences. White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Biden “shares” the “concern” and “horror” of those who “feel outraged” or “frightened” by the leaked draft advisory.

When Peter Doocy of Fox News asked Psaki if the abortion protests outside the judges’ homes could be considered extreme, she replied, “A peaceful protest, no. A peaceful protest is not extreme. We encourage certainly people to stay peaceful and not resort to any level of violence.”

Additionally, activists are targeting Catholic churches for Mother’s Day protests, with some citing the Roman Catholic faith of several judges who allegedly backed the leaked draft opinion quashing Roe v. Wade.

Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights organized a “action weekfrom May 8, Mother’s Day, with “Actions outside the churches”.

Pro-abortion vandals targeted a church in Boulder, Colorado, on Wednesday, spray-paint “bans our bodies” and “my body my choice” on the building.
