Colorado Governor Jared Polis called the deadly Boulder shopping mall shooting a “senseless tragedy” for the community.

He added that he was “sure we know people”.
“People of all ages. And people who started their day with a cup of coffee and reading the morning paper or maybe getting their kids ready and putting on a winter coat to go out. Maybe they do. they had last minute break plans, but none of them expected it to be the last day here on the planet, ”Polis said.
Polis offered direct support to the families of the victims and those affected by the tragic shooting. “Our hearts ache for those who lost their lives. For their families, for the survivors left behind, for the survivors who were able to come out and who have invisible but equally painful scars,” he said.
“It’s a pain that we have to sit down with,” Polis said.
