Lauren’s mother, a former aspiring musical artist known online as Turquoise Miami, announced that the toddler passed away on Sunday. The circumstances of his death remain unclear.
During her live video vigil, Fetty – who soared to being a superstar with the single “Trap Queen” in 2014 – asked her more than 6.8 million Instagram followers to flood her section of comments with the butterflies, which were Lauren’s favorite animal.
“If you could all do me a favor,” said the grieving father. “Just post all the butterflies on my s – t. “
He added: “Shorty loved butterflies… and if you could all do that it would mean a lot to me”
The massive response from fan emoji butterflies made Fetty tear up tears. “Dude, thanks everyone,” said the muffled rhymer.
