New York Mayor Eric Adams on Saturday called the pro-life movement ‘radical’ and promised he would ‘fight’ to ensure there were ‘no’ limits on abortion .
“Abortion is health care. It’s that simple. And New York City won’t let a group of radical extremists take over health care or any human right without beat,” Adams tweeted on Saturday using the hashtag “BansOffOurBodies.”

Adams attended a pro-choice protest in New York on Saturday and said he doesn’t think there should be any limitations on abortion.
“No, I don’t,” Adams said when asked at the “Bans Off Our Bodies” protest in New York whether there should be any limitations on abortion.

“I think women should have the right to choose their bodies,” Adams said when pressed again for an abortion right up to the day of birth. “Men shouldn’t have the right to choose how a woman should treat her body.”

Adams’ comments come as pro-choice protesters demonstrate across the country in response to a leaked Supreme Court opinion suggesting Roe v. Wade is about to be canceled.
A recent Fox News poll shows that more than half of Americans think abortion should be banned after 15 weeks of pregnancy.
