Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell pleaded guilty Wednesday to two counts involving a minor at a hearing in Ohio.
The child actor and singer, 34, appeared on Zoom virtually before Judge Timothy McCormick at the Cuyahoga County Common Plea Court in Cleveland.
Bell, in a dark suit and pink shirt and tie, pleaded guilty to one count of disseminating information harmful to minors and one count of attempting to endanger children.
The child actor has been informed by the judge that attempting to endanger children, a fourth degree felony, carries a maximum penalty of six to 18 months in prison and / or a fine of up to up to $ 5,000. Spreading information harmful to minors is a first degree offense and is punishable by up to six months in county jail and / or a fine of up to $ 1,000.
McCormick informed Bell that jail time is not mandatory, but if he went to jail he would be subject to a discretionary three-year review period after his release.
The case will continue at a hearing on July 12.

Bell reportedly tweeted about playing at The Odeon Concert Club in Cleveland on December 1 of the same year, but the post has since been deleted.
During the concert, Bell allegedly “violated his duty of care and in doing so created a risk of harm to the victim,” prosecutors said.
