Movie theater audiences may not have taken “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” well, but the film managed to land huge deals in the sale of digital and satellite rights. After two days, the film nets a total of Rs 7 crore and is expected to earn around Rs 12 crore by the end of its first weekend, Boxofficeindia reports. “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” fared poorly in most circuits across the country, but Mumbai markets contributed positively to the film’s total.
Post this, Ranveer Singh has Rohit Shetty lead “Cirkus”, Karan Johar’s romantic artist “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani” Hindi remake of Tamil hit “Anniyan” starring Shankar. Speaking about his upcoming films, the actor told PTI, “I’ve talked a lot about doing a full comedy, so ‘Cirkus’ is about that. I’m very grateful to Rohit sir for that. Then my premiere and, hopefully the first of many collaborations with someone who is just an absolute bundle of love and joy, an all around artist and often amazingly talented, Karan Johar. It’s such a pleasure to work with him. J hope I get cast in every one of his movies, it’s been such an amazing time working with him.
