Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy’s sex tape partner, Instagram model Sydney Raines, has spoken.
Earlier this week, a clip was uploaded with Portnoy, 44, and a nude woman together. The identity of the woman in the video was not confirmed until Wednesday, when Raines confirmed it was her in an Instagram statement in which she called herself “the one and only true initiated into the “scandal” “.
“I realized yesterday that a video surfaced on the Internet and yes, it was me,” she began. “His [sic] It’s hard to believe a video from the past has just been released, but it was never meant to be public. “
The social media personality made sure that while some disapprove of the video and its content, “it was completely consensual.”

Raines also said that she and Portnoy remained friends and had “no animosity” between them.
“People need to realize that we all endure obstacles in our lives and that it is mine,” she continued. “I won’t call it a mistake since we both took responsibility for it, but the fact that it was disclosed and published without our knowledge and consent would be considered the real mistake.”
The star insisted she would continue her regular life “without annoyance” after talking about the leaked sex tape.

After the video was leaked, Barstool’s stock plunged, which ultimately caught the attention of its founder on Tuesday, although there was no proven link between the two.
“A stock is down because someone is having consensual sex? Are you kidding me?” Portnoy said in a video message posted on Twitter.

At the end of the video, the founder of Barstool encouraged investors to turn the situation into an opportunity and “buy the plunge”.
Additionally, Portnoy told FOX Business on Tuesday that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the dated video other than the fact that it was being distributed illegally. He said the correlation in the movement of stocks just looks “stupid.”

“Someone committing a crime by leaking an old sex video between two consenting adults seems like a stupid reason for a stock to go down,” he said. “As far as I know, no one would exist on Earth without sex. And anyone who shared or watched it committed a federal crime. It was never intended for public consumption. Either way, it represented a good buying opportunity in my mind. “
