TOI has learned that six players from Mumbai – Arman Jaffer, Saksham Jha, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Suved Parkar, Ayaz Khan and Himanshu Veer Singh have been selected for an emerging India Under-23 camp in Mysore, Bangalore and Anantpur from July 11 to August 4. Mumbai won the CK Nayudu Under-25 Trophy and reached the Cooch Behar Under-25 Trophy final this season.
Jaffer scored 127 for Mumbai on Friday, day four of their Ranji Trophy semi-final against Uttar Pradesh in Bangalore. Parkar slammed 252 on his first class debut, against Uttarakhand in the Ranji Trophy quarter-final earlier this month.
