Charles Leclerc exits the French Grand Prix while leading | Race News



Ferrari’s title contender Charles Leclerc crashed out of the Formula 1 French Grand Prix while leading from pole position on Sunday.
The Monegasque driver spun and crashed into the tire barrier in the middle of the Beausset corner, at the 11th corner, on the 18th of the 53 scheduled laps.
It was Leclerc’s third retirement while leading a race this season after Spain and Azerbaijan.

Leclerc entered the race second in the championship, 38 points behind Red Bull Max Verstappenwho took over at the front in France.
