Jamie Lynn Spears posted a cryptic message in her Instagram Story on Thursday that seemed to imply that she just wanted the legal drama involving big sister Britney Spears to end.

“Dear Lord, can we end this bull shit once and for all,” the 30-year-old “Zoey 101” former wrote on social media, adding, “Amen.”

Jamie Lynn’s public prayer comes after the “Toxic” singer received the good news that a judge approved her petition to hire her own attorney in her trusteeship case against her father Jamie Spears.

The 39-year-old pop star has appointed Mathew Rosengart as his lawyer. Rosengart has represented several prominent celebrities in the past, including Madonna, Sean Penn, Ben Affleck, Steven Spielberg and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Hearing the news, Britney celebrated by cartwheeling in a video posted to Instagram.

Jamie Lynn broke his silence on the legal drama in June for the first time after Britney gave first testimony in court.

“The only reason I haven’t [spoken] before, it’s because I felt that until my sister was able to speak for herself and say what she needed to say publicly, that it wasn’t my place and that it was not the right thing to do, “said the actress.

“But now that she has spoken very clearly and said what she has to say, I feel like I can follow her lead and say whatever I want to say.”

Britney testified last month that her father was in control of his estimated $ 60 million fortune. She also said she was drugged, forced to stay on birth control and made to work against her will.

“I really believe this tutelage is abusive,” Britney said. “It is my wish and my dream that this will all end.”

The guardianship arrangement – initially supposed to be temporary – was implemented at Jamie’s request after Britney’s public collapse in late 2007 in the midst of her divorce from Kevin Federline.
