Former Britney Spears manager Sam Lutfi posted voicemail messages he said were sent to her by the pop singer in 2009, in which she begged him to get her out of his tutelage.
Lutfi claims to have represented Spears between 2007 and 2008 and gained notoriety when he was blamed in part for his high-profile public breakup at the time. Although Spears currently has a restraining order against him, he has released a series of voicemail messages that he says will help the “Toxic” singer in her ongoing legal action to end her guardianship.
The first voice message, shared on Instagram, that Lutfi claims to be from Spears was posted with a photo of the 39-year-old star holding her baby.
“Hello, this is Britney Spears. It’s Sunday 18th,” the message begins, according to Lutfi’s audio and own transcript. “Just to let you know that I want out of this guardianship. I have been blackmailed into visiting my babies by the guardianship. I am confined, restricted and stripped of my civil rights. And I demand that the State of California is revising this case because I think it’s illegal .. Bye “

During her candidacy for guardianship, Britney’s father Jamie Spears, with whom she now fights for the management of her estate, alleged that Lutfi was taking advantage of the star and contributed to her deteriorating mental health during her bitter custody battle for Kevin Federline, according to the Daily Mail. Lutfi has denied these allegations.
In a second article which also shows a young Spears with her children whom Lutfi claims to have taken, the woman he says is Spears alleges that her father threatened her in the process of establishing guardianship.
“Hello, my name is Britney Spears. I called you earlier,” the audio begins. “I’m calling back because I just wanted to make sure that during the process of removing the guardianship that my dad threatened me several times, that you know he’ll take my kids away. I just want to be sure that everything will be okay with it. the process and you take care of everything, things will stay the same until my time on call. That’s it, bye. “

In the third video, the voice Lutfi claims to be Spears asks John Eardley and John Patterson to be his legal representatives. In caption, his former manager notes that he posted these voicemails in the past but that they received very little attention. He says former Spears attorney Samuel Ingham, who resigned earlier this month, has already questioned the authenticity of the tapes and that his family have “verified” they were fake.
Page Six reports that Eardley was turned down an offer to challenge Jamie as custodian of Britney’s estate in 2008. In February of the same year, Lutfi received a restraining order on the same day his term as trusteeship took over. start. In 2009, she got a second order which this time included Lutfi, Eardley and her ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib. The outlet notes that the prohibition order was renewed again in 2019.
Representatives for Britney and Jamie Spears did not immediately respond to Fox News’ request for comment.

In the last voicemail that Lutfi shared, the woman he claims to be Spears noted that she was “of sound mind and body” and felt that she was being held against her will and that most of her rights constitutional provisions had been violated. The allegedly leaked voicemail message was accompanied by screenshots of emails he says he sent her in 2008 to seek legal representation and reiterate his rights claims.
Lutfi alleges that he presented the audio to lawyers as well as the courts but was not taken seriously.

Earlier this month, Spears was granted court permission to choose his own lawyer after Ingham resigned. She is now replaced by Mathew Rosengart who has asked to remove her father, Jamie, from his tutelage. The change in representation came after her explosive testimony last month in which she lashed out at her father and the guardianship he has overseen since 2008.
