‘Breaking Bad’ actor says Americans should ‘stfu’ on gas prices if they ‘love capitalism so much’

Actor Dean Norris has slammed people who complain about soaring gas prices in the United States.

The ‘Breaking Bad’ star said current gas prices are a ‘fair market’ and urged anyone who ‘likes[s] Capitalism” to “stfu”, an acronym for shutting up shit.

“You don’t get ‘robbed’ at the pump,” Norris wrote in a tweet Wednesday. “You pay fair market price for a commodity. If you love capitalism so much, then stfu.”

Norris’ social media post comes as Americans see record high gasoline prices.

The national average for a gallon of gas is over $4.98, according to AAA. Norris lives in California, where gas is the most expensive with an average of over $6.40 a gallon.

The cheapest gas price in the country is in Georgia, where Peach State residents see an average price of around $4.48 per gallon.

At this time a year ago, the national average was $3.70, AAA reported.

Prior to this year, the highest national gas price average ever recorded by AAA was $4.114 per gallon in July 2008.
