Talking about her experience filming for the first time after having a baby, Anushka told a magazine in an interview that she was part of the creation of ‘Chakda’ Xpress’. She was supposed to have worked on it earlier but the movie was postponed due to the pandemic and then she got pregnant. The actress added that when she finally started working on it, she was very nervous because she had just had a baby, so she wasn’t as strong as before. Anushka hadn’t trained for 18 months, so she wasn’t in the best physical condition. Previously, she would have really pushed herself to do different exercises in the gym.
Elaborating further, Anushka added that although she was unsure whether she should take on the project or not, an inner voice was telling her to do so. And that’s the kind of job she wants to be a part of. The actress said she would always be open to doing interesting, content-driven projects.
‘Chakda ‘Xpress’ is a biopic about Jhulan Goswami, the former captain of the India women’s national cricket team. The film is set to release on an OTT platform in February 2023.
