Yash’s standout ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is about to complete a month in theaters around the world and it continues to rake the moolah. The action entertainer recently passed the Rs 1100 crore mark and there are no signs of it slowing down. Director Prashanth Neel has successfully challenged several new releases in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and has always remained on top in terms of collections.

The film has recently reached a new milestone in Bengal. ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ is now the second film in Bengal that has crossed the 20 crore mark. The first in this coveted list is SS Rajamouli directed “Bahubali 2”, released in 2017. Now, according to reports, “KGF: Chapter 2” has already earned 22.06 crores across Bengal. The craze around this blockbuster action flick is still going strong as the film is just days away from hitting the Rs 1,200 crore mark.

‘KGF: Chapter 2’, released on April 14, was written and directed by Prashanth Neel. It stars Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon and Srinidhi Shetty in the lead alongside Prakash Raj, Malavika Avinash, Saran and Eswari Rao were seen in supporting roles.

‘KGF: Chapter 1’ became a sleeper hit in 2018 which attained cult status over time and after this particular movie, Yash’s fandom grew highly even in Bengal.

KGF: Chapter 2 is the story of Rocky (Yash), an orphan raised in poverty and later crowned king of a gold mine.
