Carrie Underwood has solved the mystery behind Jason Aldean’s latest Instagram teaser to reveal a collaboration between the two.
On Wednesday, the country singer took to Instagram to reveal the title of a new collaboration to be released at midnight Friday called “If I Didn’t Love You.” It was accompanied by a poster showing Aldean and his name, but his collaborator was deleted.
“We have a brand new song coming this Friday! Who do you think sings on this one with me? »Aldean captioned the message.

As internet sleuths began to speculate and even do digital research, Underwood, 38, put the rumors to bed Thursday morning with a single emoji of a woman raising her hand in the comments. Aldean, 44, then quickly confirmed the news by sharing a screenshot of his original post with Underwood’s comment circled on his Instagram story. He then shared the unredacted promotional photo showing Underwood’s face and name.

While Instagram’s funny reveal gave fans something to talk about for the night, Taste of Country notes that it was far from the best-kept secret in the country’s history. Before Underwood even left his comment, savvy users shared on Twitter that they uploaded the edited image of Aldean and brightened it up, revealing the glamorous photo of Underwood hidden behind the question mark.

However, others have speculated that, given the title, “If I Didn’t Love You” was to be Aldean’s first duet with his wife, Brittany. Although she is not a singer by profession like her husband, the media notes that she has already tried for “American Idol”, so singing a song is not out of the realm of possibility.

While Brittany didn’t end up being the partner of the duo in question, she too had love on Aldean’s Instagram. Hours after posting the Underwood teaser, Aldean shared a picture of him and his wife roasting red wine near an outdoor fire pit.
